Art B rocked their Linoleum Printmaking Landscapes. Students learned about composition and the 3 planes of space. Next they sketched their design, carved it out, and printed it on to paper they mono printed themselves. Great work👏👏👏 A shoutout to our amazing Columbia PTA for funding the grant that made this project possible!

Today at CMS, our 6th-8th grade students took part in an impactful assembly — “Become an Overcomer: The Breakfast Club’s Guide to Mental Health.” Brittany connected with our students through humor, honesty, and a fun 80s Breakfast Club theme while sharing powerful messages about pressure, anxiety, and the importance of opening up and supporting one another. This opportunity was made possible through the support of the Monroe County Drug Awareness Coalition, the CHS Snowball Club, and our School Resource Officer, who all recognized how important this message is for today’s youth. We’re so grateful to have hosted such an empowering and meaningful experience for our students! 💙 #ourcmsstory
