📣 Important Announcement – School Closure on Tuesday, August 5 📣
Due to scheduled work by Ameren to set a new transformer, the high school will be without power on Tuesday, August 5. This outage will also impact phone and internet access across the entire district.
🔌 All district schools and offices will be closed for the day.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as this important work is completed to support our infrastructure. School offices will reopen on Wednesday, August 6.

Columbia High School will be closed on Tuesday, August 5.
The school will be without power due to construction.
This closure brings us one step closer to the new addition being open!

Over the last few years, CMS students have amazed us with their artistic talents. At the end of each school year, Mrs. Mueller asked one 8th grade student to add to her ocean themed ceiling tile tradition.

Get ready to represent CMS in blue and white this fall! Tryouts for CMS Baseball and Softball are just around the corner—come show your Eagle pride and compete for a spot on the team!

Baseball Tryouts:
🧢 8th Grade Boys – 8:00–10:00 AM
🧢 7th Grade Boys – 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Softball Tryouts:
🥎 6th–8th Grade Girls – 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Note: 6th grade girls may only be selected if there are not enough 7th & 8th grade players.
✅ To participate, students must have the following on file with the school nurse:
A current sports physical
A concussion form
An athletic waiver

Parkview lobby and office will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday due to waxing the floors. If you need to reach the office you may do so by email only.

The middle school office will be closed on Thursday and Friday for cleaning. Office hours will resume on Monday from 9-2.

Online registration for the 2025–2026 school year is now open! Whether you're a returning family or enrolling for the first time, now’s the time to complete your online registration through Skyward.
For everyone that completes all steps of the registration process between now and this Friday, July 25th, including proof of residency and paying fees, your student’s schedule/teacher's name will be released for you to view in Skyward by 5pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
